Job Title: Quality Control  

Reports To: Warehouse Manager/General Manager   

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Classification: Full Time 

 

Job Summary: The Quality Control employee will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards within the SCP portfolio in conjunction with the Warehouse operations.  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • None 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform regular inspections of products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications for the SCP portfolio. 
  • Create and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to maintain product quality.  
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, deficits, and areas for improvement.  
  • Prepare reports on inspection results, quality issues, and damaged items. 
  • Collaborate with the SCP teams to ensure quality standards are met and to improve best practices. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  


Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and task oriented. 
  • Most be able to work in a fast-paced environment, Monday through Friday starting at 1:00pm.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with the entire SCP organization. 
  • Proficient in Excel, Encompass, and Microsoft applications. 
  • Represents SCP’s commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values. 

 

Education/Experience: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Administrative 40%  
  • Walking, Bending, Lifting, Twisting, Pushing, and Pulling 60%
