Warehouse Custodian
Job Title: Facility Custodian
Reports To: Custodial Facility Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full-Time
Job Summary: The Warehouse Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the Warehouse housekeeping, upkeeping of warehouse equipment, and other custodial duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Facility & Office Sanitation:
- Sweep, mop, and auto-scrub office and warehouse floor surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, sinks, and common touchpoints; restock paper products and soaps daily.
- Maintain office areas, wipe windows, mirrors, glass, and empty trash and recycling containers.
Warehouse & Exterior Maintenance:
- Keep main warehouse aisles clear of loose litter, plastic shrink wrap, broken wood/pallet debris, and trash.
- Safely clean up liquid spills or leaks in the warehouse promptly to maintain safety standards.
- Walk the exterior perimeter daily to collect litter and keep main entrances and outdoor break areas tidy.
Supply & Equipment Management:
- Monitor custodial inventory (cleaning chemicals, paper goods, trash bags) and notify management when supplies need reordering.
- Properly clean, maintain, and securely store all facility cleaning equipment and supplies after use.
- Follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for safe handling, mixing, and storage of chemicals.
Facility Care:
- Report maintenance issues, plumbing leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards immediately to the Warehouse Manager.
- Perform additional custodian or light facility duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical dilution ratios, and safe handling of cleaning products.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience:
- High School graduate or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds continuously.
- Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, continuously.
