Job Title: Special Events Representative 

Reports To: Special Events Manager  

FLSA Status: Full Time  

Classification: Exempt   

  

Job Summary: The Special Events Representative is responsible for the loading, delivering, unloading event products, supporting events set up and take down for a wide variety of events- including sporting events, festivals, concerts, community outreach events, and internal celebrations within Southern Crown Partners’ portfolio.

  

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

  • None  

  

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Execute all logistical aspects of events from concept to completion. (loading, delivering unloading product and event equipment: trailers, carts, tents).
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, other service providers and across SCP departments.  
  • Work independently and solve problems.  
  • Work closely with the Special Events team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with SCP goals. 
  • Execution, set up and breakdown of events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. 
  • Work with others, building and maintaining relationships.  
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for the role as assigned.  
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Punctual and dependable. 
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Able to operate in Inventory management system, HRIS system and send communication by text and email. 
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record.  
  • Forklift Certification (can obtain with SCP). 
  • Willing to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card to operate box truck as needed. 
  • Monday through Friday plus weekends with early start time and late nights. (Schedule flexibility is required.)  
  • Ability to effectively practice safe driving and proper lifting techniques.  
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments, customers, and vendors.  
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications.

Education/Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Travel 70%   
  • Walking, Bending, Lifting, and Twisting 80%  
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally up to 160 pounds.
