Service Representative (Non CDL Driver)

Job Title: Service Representative (Non CDL Driver) 

Reports To: Southern Horizon Logistics Manager 

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Classification: Full Time 

Job Summary: The Service Representative is responsible for completing deliveries in a courteous, professional, and timely manner for the Southern Horizon Logistics distribution within Southern Crown Partners portfolio.  

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• None 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Maintain a clean and serviceable vehicle, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily. 
• Responsible for communicating effectively and timely with the Service Manager regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours, or additional assignments.  
• Ability to fuel delivery vehicles to maintain adequate fluid levels. 
• Ability to separate and organize products for routes.  
• Ability to load and unload the truck, using warehousing equipment. 
• Responsible for auditing and checking in products at each location, while ensuring accuracy of billing to customers.  
• Comply with SCP and SHL policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.  
• Responsible for working with others, building, and maintaining relationships. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork, accounting, and documentation.  
• Ability to solve practical and simple math problems.  
• Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues.  
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.  
• Punctual and dependable.

• Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record. 

Education/Experience: 

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record  
• Valid Medical Certificate (DOT med card) 
• High School graduate or GED 

Physical Requirements: 

• Walking, standing, climbing, bending, balancing, kneeling, lifting, and twisting frequently. 
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.   
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.   
• Driving 80% 
• Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and twisting 20%
