Job Title: Key Accounts Intern 

Reports To: Senior Category Space Manager 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Classification: Seasonal/PT/FT 

 

Job Summary: This Key Accounts Intern will be responsible for executing sets and resets in a geographic territory. This paid internship is designed to provide a learning experience and real-world practical business experience that will jumpstart your career after graduation. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • None 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Operates independently and in conjunction with sales or chain personnel in set development. 
  • Support the onsite reset process including coordination with employees, retailer, or competitive personnel.  
  • Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and product placement for SCP accounts. 
  • Responsible for strengthening and growing retailer relations. 
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Proficient in strategy, product placement, flow, etc. 
  • Ability to sustain physical work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to find solutions and meet deadlines.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.  
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record. 
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel. 
  • Represents SCP’s commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values. 

 

Education/Experience: 

  • Active student pursuing a degree in Business Management/Administration or Marketing preferred. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.   
  • Driving 20% 
  • Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and twisting 80%
